10/22 This last week

Last Sunday was a wonderful day. First we woke up to a wonderfully foggy world. We couldn't see across the street down below. It was the first thing I noticed when I walked into the living room, despite the curtains being closed (one blind is about two inches short so I could see right under it). Neko on the other hand, walked right into the kitchen (where the large window was open) to feed the cats and didn't notice a thing. It wasn't until I said "woah" that he noticed.
Pumpkin Spice pancakes
Then I cooked us up a tasty breakfast. I made him some very coconuty pancakes and cooked up myself some pumpkins spice pancakes. We both went with the traditional maple syrup this time around (though I did have a bite of pancake with a little bit of vanilla ice cream and it was amazing with the pumpkin spice).
Then we cuddled up and watched the last couple episodes of the original Hellsing.
A few hours later, we went over to Neko's sister's place to hang out and eat. We have a new tradition starting up where Neko's sister, mom and the two of us get together ever Sunday for tea. A couple weeks ago, we went to the arboretum, found a stone bench and had tea there. His sister has a very pretty (and complete) tea set. We also had little sandwiches, some with cucumber, some with cheese, they were all tasty.
This last week, we went over to his sister's place where we had wonderful chai tea and this most amazing dinner. They were these weird little potato things that came in a box. She then boiled them and smothered them in a cheese sauce. They have a texture almost like pasta but a little different.
Potatoes, eggs and lotsa cheese
Monday morning, I was too tired to make it to my Bio class. So after sleeping in about an hour, we got up and I made us a nummy breakfast and we started watching Hellsing Ultimate (which I must say, I don't like as much as the original. I like there are more events, but I much prefer the characters from the first). Then that night I made this wonderful Punkin thing (from a box). It had cream cheese between the layers of pumpkin bread and was smothered in caramel sauce. We took over what was left (most of it) to the House the next day.
Pumpkin Treat
The rest of the week was rather uneventful. We has a surprise exam in Art because we thought it was on Thursday but it was on Tuesday... I managed to pull a B and Neko actually got an A. I'm glad I got the B being I didn't study at all.
Banana Bread Muffins
Last night was family night and it was quite full. JJ is down on the mainland from Alaska for a while so he was there (and good god does he look different! He may  have lost only 55 pounds but he looks amazing, I didn't recognize him at first). Grandma must have been feeling lonely because she was there this time too. Food was tasty as always (ribs, corn casserole, salad, potato salad and my banana muffins [made from scratch]). Baby G was as cute as always and we even got to skype with RB.
Now it is Saturday morning. I have a banana bread muffin in my tummy and I am stuck trying to figure out what else to do with my day. I am considering going out into the brisk morning to wander farmers market alone. Maybe try to decide what to make us for dinner. *swaying to Free by David Garrett while thinking*
Well, that is what I got for this week, we will have to see when I decide to get around to blogging next (what?! Blogging is a word now? doesn't even have a red line under it o.0)

9/10/2011 A quick week

Banana Split X3
So, as you can see, I'm not the best at updating the blog on a daily basis but that is no surprise... I will try to at the very least update every week...
Turkey, Havarti, sprout bagel
We worked our way through school though I missed two classes (Biology and Psych) because I wasn't feeling well. I have had a cold, been on my period (as well as having had two weeks before it spotting) and now have a Sinus for my pilonidal cyst (though thank god it doesn't look like the wiki picture o.0) So I was feeling a bit down...
Tuna, Provolone, sprout sandwich
I finally started to feel better but that day Tov was down, not really down but not happy. So I decided to fix it! I made him a (college style) Candle Lit Dinner (tee lights and patty melts with tater tots). That made him better as well as being ADD video gamers together. We did two races in Burnout, three songs on guitar hero, two missions in Tenchu and finally a few rounds in Romance of the three Kingdoms.
PP, Nutella, banana sandwich
Last night we went over to the Placke's (who are pregnant again!) for family night dinner. after that we played video games and Neko introduced me to Oblivion... bad plan... I love it....
Neko has started working at the shop for his work study... sadly that means he is no longer here Saturday mornings T.T from 9-1... oh yeah, the hours of farmer market. So the thing I looked forward for my weekends is now gone. Because of this, I decided to spend my morning not with my handsome but instead cleaning the house and spending a little bit of time on the computer. (sorry bout the rant but I am bitter my one of two mornings is ruined) Once he got home we played computer and video games. Being I pulled out chicken this morning, I had to figure out something creative to do with it. My choice, to attempt a Chicken and Rice Casserole. Once I pull it out of the oven, I will describe it and post pictures.
So, it actually turned out pretty good! The rice (despite having mushrooms in it Xp) was really tasty (which doesn't have an e in it). The chicken was slightly bland but it didn't really matter much and was easily fixed by eating a bite of rice with a bite of chicken. And it was even better because Neko surprised me by turning it into a candle lit dinner. Then it got even better because he decided to spoil me and make me blueberry muffins (which were amazing and we managed to eat half of them)! After we were done attempting (and failing actually) to be ninjas, we went to bed.

9/4/11 A wonderful Sunday

All our amazing options
(click any pictures to marvel at them)
Nutella and Strawberries
Mint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate syrup
After about an hour of chilling in the nice toasty bed, we managed to drag ourselves out into the world. Though there were many tasty options for breakfast, it was quickly decided that waffles were our favorite choice (the fact that we had so many amazing toppings might have had something to do with that). So while Neko showered, I cut up strawberries and threw a spoon full or two of sugar in and started getting the waffle maker ready. Once he was out, he settled down to play video-games while I made breakfast. Being it takes forever for waffles to cook, while they steamed away, I cheered him on on his quest to take over China. Finally the waffles were done (as were the hash browns which were tasty) and we got to marvel at all the choices we had for toppings. We started getting creative (though we didn’t actually do them) thinking of things like oreos or Mint Musketeer bars. Neko had one with Nutella, strawberries, vanilla bean ice cream; one with peanut butter, honey and strawberries and finally one with nutella, strawberries, mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate syrup (which he said was actually really good). For me, my first had just nutella and strawberries, the next had coconut pineapple ice cream, and strawberries and my last had mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate syrup.
After only a couple of hours of enjoying our Sunday, Neko was summoned by Mom to come help her. So I quickly made his lunch while he got dressed. While he ate, I made sure he was smothered in sunscreen and that he hadn't forgotten anything. Then he left me for the next 4 hours to go dig holes and replant plants.
A while after he left, I made my lunch (a turkey, avocado, Havarti, alfalfa sprout and cream cheese bagel) and video called with mi amigo. We nerded out and played computer game together until my tired handsome returned.
Our evening was pretty restful. Video games were played and the computer was hogged. Neko also surprised me and made tasty (which still doesn't have an e) dinner (though he is amazing, and I'm sure he could, this is not from scratch xD). We curled up with our nummies and watched Princess Mononoke. When the movie and related discussions were finished, we dragged ourselves back to the nice toasty bed.
