10/22 This last week

Last Sunday was a wonderful day. First we woke up to a wonderfully foggy world. We couldn't see across the street down below. It was the first thing I noticed when I walked into the living room, despite the curtains being closed (one blind is about two inches short so I could see right under it). Neko on the other hand, walked right into the kitchen (where the large window was open) to feed the cats and didn't notice a thing. It wasn't until I said "woah" that he noticed.
Pumpkin Spice pancakes
Then I cooked us up a tasty breakfast. I made him some very coconuty pancakes and cooked up myself some pumpkins spice pancakes. We both went with the traditional maple syrup this time around (though I did have a bite of pancake with a little bit of vanilla ice cream and it was amazing with the pumpkin spice).
Then we cuddled up and watched the last couple episodes of the original Hellsing.
A few hours later, we went over to Neko's sister's place to hang out and eat. We have a new tradition starting up where Neko's sister, mom and the two of us get together ever Sunday for tea. A couple weeks ago, we went to the arboretum, found a stone bench and had tea there. His sister has a very pretty (and complete) tea set. We also had little sandwiches, some with cucumber, some with cheese, they were all tasty.
This last week, we went over to his sister's place where we had wonderful chai tea and this most amazing dinner. They were these weird little potato things that came in a box. She then boiled them and smothered them in a cheese sauce. They have a texture almost like pasta but a little different.
Potatoes, eggs and lotsa cheese
Monday morning, I was too tired to make it to my Bio class. So after sleeping in about an hour, we got up and I made us a nummy breakfast and we started watching Hellsing Ultimate (which I must say, I don't like as much as the original. I like there are more events, but I much prefer the characters from the first). Then that night I made this wonderful Punkin thing (from a box). It had cream cheese between the layers of pumpkin bread and was smothered in caramel sauce. We took over what was left (most of it) to the House the next day.
Pumpkin Treat
The rest of the week was rather uneventful. We has a surprise exam in Art because we thought it was on Thursday but it was on Tuesday... I managed to pull a B and Neko actually got an A. I'm glad I got the B being I didn't study at all.
Banana Bread Muffins
Last night was family night and it was quite full. JJ is down on the mainland from Alaska for a while so he was there (and good god does he look different! He may  have lost only 55 pounds but he looks amazing, I didn't recognize him at first). Grandma must have been feeling lonely because she was there this time too. Food was tasty as always (ribs, corn casserole, salad, potato salad and my banana muffins [made from scratch]). Baby G was as cute as always and we even got to skype with RB.
Now it is Saturday morning. I have a banana bread muffin in my tummy and I am stuck trying to figure out what else to do with my day. I am considering going out into the brisk morning to wander farmers market alone. Maybe try to decide what to make us for dinner. *swaying to Free by David Garrett while thinking*
Well, that is what I got for this week, we will have to see when I decide to get around to blogging next (what?! Blogging is a word now? doesn't even have a red line under it o.0)
My view on a none foggy morning
